With our long-standing subcontractor relationships and our extensive experience we can help you through the building process.

In October of 2014 we completed our personal residence in which we worked as both builder and homeowner. It was a rewarding experience and we can now truly empathize with the emotional investment homeowners make. Shortly thereafter we started working towards our dream of starting our own construction company. Waltman Homes was then founded in early 2015. We wanted to take our experience in the construction industry and translate that into a new, fresh, custom homebuilder that could meet the needs of today’s informed homeowners. We utilize our long-standing subcontractor relationships to deliver quality homes built specifically for you. Natalie brings her experience from the commercial estimating world to handle the preconstruction portion for each project including working with subcontractors and homeowners on pricing. She works closely with the homeowner through the design phase to ensure the constructability and overall flow of each house. In the beginning stages of construction, Natalie meets with the homeowner to make design selections for all the finishes of the home. Brandon utilizes his extensive time in residential construction management to specialize on the construction portion of the projects including subcontractor relationships, quality control, scheduling and warranty. He works closely with the homeowners to ensure the project comes together how they envisioned. At periodic intervals throughout construction he walks the project with the homeowner to review specific details of construction. He will be a familiar site on your jobsite! Together we bring strengths in all areas of construction to our business which facilitates a successful build project. We enjoy our work and love to build homes. Waltman Homes is currently building in the Treasure Valley area, focusing on Nampa to Middleton and surrounding areas.

Brandon | President & Construction Manager

As a teenager Brandon began his construction career framing homes. This first experience in the construction industry led him to BYU-Idaho where he studied Construction Management with a Business emphasis. Between semesters at college, Brandon worked with Pulte Homes in California for two summer internships. After earning his degree, Brandon hired on with Pulte as an assistant superintendent working in the Bay Area division. In 2006, Brandon and his wife returned to Idaho to join the Brighton Homes team as a Superintendent and eventually became the Construction Manager overseeing all of Brighton’s construction in the valley. During his time with Brighton Homes, Brandon focused on delivering beautiful, clean, and complete homes to the homeowners. He helped improve construction schedules and processes, and developed a great reputation among the subcontractors for his professional, organized jobsites. His passion for the homebuilding industry was evident by the many accolades received by both trade contractors and clients. After many years with Brighton Homes, Brandon took a job with Tresidio Homes as a Project Manager to broaden his experience with custom homes which led to starting his own company alongside his wife, Natalie. A naturally optimistic team player, Brandon has created long-term partnerships with trade contractors, which has resulted in a higher level of construction and workmanship and has carried with him no matter what company he has worked for. His multi-faceted experience now contributes to his success as President and Construction Manager of Waltman Homes. He takes great pride in managing smooth running construction projects: working hard to see that they follow aggressive schedules, stay on budget and display the quality he is known for.

Natalie | CEO & Preconstruction Manager

Natalie graduated as the first female from BYU-Idaho’s Construction Management Bachelor’s program with an emphasis in Architectural Design. She then interned with Pulte Homes in Customer Relations working with homeowners during the first year in their new home. Working on the jobsite in a large community shaped her understanding of residential construction. After Pulte, Natalie continued in the residential market with Brighton Homes as their purchasing manager overseeing preconstruction budgets and selections. She became a key asset in tracking market trends while maintaining project budgets and selecting features in each home. For the last 10 years she has been working for Engineered Structures Inc, the largest general contractor in Idaho, as a Senior Project Estimator. It has given her the opportunity to work on exciting projects such as BSU’s Center for Environmental Science and Economic Development Building and most recently two new elementary schools in Twin Falls. Natalie continues to maintain her relationship with ESI and stay involved in the commercial industry. Through the years and after touring hundreds of homes Natalie has come to also develop an appreciation for good design. Her designer’s eye as well as her strength in estimating make her a valuable part of team. Natalie is a key part of the design process as she guides homeowners through the many decisions that are involved in building a home. She is excited to be on board as Waltman Homes CEO and Preconstruction Manager and work in residential construction again. The personal experience with homeowners makes her work truly rewarding.
